Frequently, medical interdisciplinary teams must wrestle with this high priority client right of self-determination versus the perceived need to increase safety/supervision. This workshop will allow attendees to share their experience,
review social work ethics standards, and practice problem-solving techniques.This program counts toward the ethics requirements for social workers in Ohio.

Seminar 3 - Compassion Fatigue

As Caring Professionals, we deal with the potential of burnout. Another phrase to describe this highly recognized phenomenon is Compassion Fatigue. In this workshop, we will discuss ways to care for ourselves, and to teach our caregiver clients how to care for themselves, with specific tools and methods.

• Present an assessment tool & practice its use
• Learn how to create a care plan for management of Compassion Fatigue
